Fireflies Captures Wild Card Friday, September 12th , 2025 It wasn't quick or easy for the Columbia Fireflies, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Southern Division crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said starting pitcher Tristen Will. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 1st Carolina League championship. |
