Cannon Ballers Crowned Kings of the Central Division Monday, September 1st , 2025 The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers stand above the competition in the Central Division and have been crowned champions. "It's a great feeling knowing we're heading to the playoffs in good shape," said catcher Eric Clancy. "Now we can turn our focus to doing what it will take to bring home the championship." The Kannapolis clubhouse was a lively place after the division clinch, as players embraced, sang and chanted into the early hours of the morning. The club currently has a 76-55 record and it's their 1st division title. The franchise will be looking for a 1st Carolina League championship. |
