Brown Goes 5-for-6 Against Delmarva Monday, August 25th , 2025 Jesse Brown exploded for a barrage of base hits at Woodpeckers Stadium. The Fayetteville center fielder had a field day in his team's 16-0 triumph over the Delmarva Shorebirds, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Brown must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Jesse Brown doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Mike Vaught in the 8th. Brown is currently hitting .371 with 3 home runsand 10 RBIs, while scoring 20 runs. |
