Woodpeckers Loera Injured in Off-Field Incident Sunday, August 24th , 2025 Misfortune has befallen the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and their starting pitcher Ramon Loera. The club will lose his services for 9-10 months. Loera hurt himself when he heroically rescued neighbors from a house fire and suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament. On his stats sheet this season, Loera shows a 2-6 record, 4 starts, 74.2 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 5.54 ERA. |
