They came up empty when it mattered against Augusta GreenJackets right-hander Brian Meunier, who scattered 6 hits across 9 innings and held the Red Sox scoreless. "We had 6 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Salem manager Savion Ellis said later. Meunier chalked up 2 strikeouts and no walks in the 13-0 GreenJackets win. |
