Centino Strokes 5 Hits Friday, July 18th , 2025 Angel Centino really sizzled at the plate in his team's 10-1 win over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The Augusta first baseman blistered Myrtle Beach for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Centino was too tough to get out today," the Pelicans skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Angel Centino doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Matt Mott in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This season, Centino is hitting .329 with 12 home runs. |
