Salem Loses Arnett for 8-9 Months Sunday, June 1st , 2025 Bill Arnett has to call it a season. The Salem Red Sox starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 05/29/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as radial nerve compression and stated that he would not be able to play for 8-9 months. The team will likely place Arnett on the injured list today. Arnett has gone 1-3 this season with an ERA of 3.40 and 35 strikeouts in 45 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .275 against him. |
