Fresneda Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, May 29th , 2025 Win or lose, Tillmam Fresneda just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Columbia Fireflies right fielder went 1-for-5, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 7-5, by the Carolina Mudcats at Ballpark of Columbia. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Tillmam Fresneda flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Currently Fresneda is batting .392 with 38 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 7 runs and scored 18 times. |
