Orellana Booms 3 out of the Park Tuesday, May 27th , 2025 Kannapolis first baseman Bobby Orellana led the Cannon Ballers to a triumph, 9-1, over the Fredericksburg Nationals, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Kannapolis skipper Tommy Guyon. Indeed, Orellana put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 4 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Orellana said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Bobby Orellana hit a solo-shot off Dinis Gandaral in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dinis Gandaral in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off David Whitehurst in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Orellana is batting .313 with 14 home runs, 32 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
