SL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Monday, June 1st , 2026 Tennessee Smokies fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in May. Jared Cole put up a remarkable month at the age of 23 and has been named the Southern League Batter of the Month. For the month, Cole hit .283 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Cole is currently hitting .303 with 7 home runsand 22 RBIs, while scoring 23 runs. |
