Barons Pitching Ravaged by Auston Wednesday, May 20th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Josh Auston of the Chattanooga Lookouts at Barons Grounds. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Auston finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Lookouts to a win, 10-5. "Auston was really good and we were really bad," groaned Barons manager Dustin Waddill. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Josh Auston singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season, Auston is hitting .309 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 110 at-bats and has played in 34 games. |
