5-for-5 Game for Cruz Sunday, September 7th , 2025 The Tennessee Smokies upended the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Smokies Grounds, thanks in large part to shortstop Victor Cruz, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Smokies to a 7-1 victory. Victor Cruz singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Grimm in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Cruz is batting .336 with 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
