Lookouts Not Competitive in 8-0 Loss to Birmingham Thursday, September 4th , 2025 Birmingham Barons right-hander Nick Banner used his full arsenal to shoot down the Chattanooga Lookouts, 8-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 1 walk and striking out 1. Banner allowed 6 hits in the victory. "It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Chattanooga was on a way, way different page," Banner said. This season, Banner has crafted a 5-1 mark with a 3.88 ERA in 46.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .254 against him and he has 34 strikeouts. |
