He was 5-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Rodriguez said later. Pedro Rodriguez hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Steve Chavez in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
