Tacoma Halts Hall's Hitting Steak
Tuesday, May 6th , 2025
Las Vegas left fielder Keith Hall went 0-for-5 in Las Vegas's 6-1 triumph over the Tacoma Rainiers, snapping his 22-game hitting streak.
Hall spoke to BNN after the game and said he "knew the hitting streak would end sooner or later."
"I just would have preferred later," he said with a laugh. "It was fun though."
When Hall made an out in his last chance at the plate, his teammates congratulated him in the dugout. In the clubhouse after the game, he seemed unbothered by the streak ending.
"There's nothing scientific about it, that's for sure," Rainiers manager Marc Lavin said of Hall's streak. "He had a nice little run. Let him start another one when we finish the series here."
So far this season, Hall has put up a .302 batting average with 32 hits, 2 home runs and 12 RBIs.
