Galli Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, April 16th , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Tacoma's 9-6 win over Reno, shortstop Jerry Galli was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Aces Grounds. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Galli said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Jerry Galli hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. For the season, Galli is hitting .348, batted in 5 runs with 1 home run and 3 runs scored. |
