PCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Nevarez Monday, June 1st , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Salt Lake's Ricky Nevarez put up last week were the envy of the league, as Nevarez came away with Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week as he posted his .444 batting average. So far this year, Nevarez is batting .305 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
