Reno-Sacramento Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, May 19th , 2026 Yesterday at River Cats Field Chase Johnson and Bobby Dominguez got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Reno Aces and Sacramento River Cats. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Johnson will have to sit out 5 while Dominguez would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This year, Johnson is batting .214 with 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. In 32 games he has scored 16 times. |
