Round Rock Helpless Against Taylor, Lose 12-0 Sunday, April 12th , 2026 The Round Rock Express were almost helpless in their 12-0 loss to the El Paso Chihuahuas and hurler Harry Taylor. Taylor kept the Express confused all game, spinning a 7-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Taylor," Round Rock manager Matt Hietpas said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Taylor said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." |
