5-for-5 Day for Morris Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 It was high-fives all around for Josh Morris at Isotopes Park. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Albuquerque Isotopes. Morris smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 5-4 win. "Josh was hitting everything," said Dodgers manager Mike Vorhees. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Isotopes manager Chance Van Treese told BNN beat writers that Morris "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Morris oversleeps next time." Josh Morris singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This year, Morris has socked 109 hits in 387 at-bats for a .282 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .367 pace and his totals also include 48 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
