Walsh Bombs 3 HR Against Sacramento Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 Fans are still buzzing after Oklahoma City whipped the Sacramento River Cats by the score of 12-4 at River Cats Field. Bobby Walsh smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the second baseman bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 8 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Walsh said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Walsh said. "Three is just... wow." Bobby Walsh hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Swanson in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Mike Brunelle in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Brunelle in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season, Walsh is batting .284 with 91 hits, 9 home runs, 47 RBIs, 33 walks, .351 OBP and has scored 44 runs. He has played in 85 games. |
