Hitting Streak Still Alive for Rice Sunday, July 12th , 2026 Jamie Rice ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Progressive Field, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold dropped the game, 5-3, to the Cleveland(ACL) Guardians. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Rice said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Jamie Rice struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In the 2026 season Rice is hitting .414 with 6 home runs. |
