Los Angeles N(ACL) Halts Shaeffer's Hitting Steak Thursday, July 9th , 2026 The Dodgers stopped Kyle Shaeffer's 22-game hitting streak at Sutter Health Park, but they couldn't stop the ACL Athletics, falling by the score of 15-1. Shaeffer didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-3. "It's just as well," Athletics manager Ben Chaney said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." Shaeffer is currently batting .524 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
