Pantoja Batters San Diego(ACL) Big Time Monday, July 6th , 2026 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Miguel Pantoja of the ACL Athletics had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate in his team's 14-2 win over the San Diego(ACL) Padres at PETCO Park. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Miguel Pantoja hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 7th. So far this year, Pantoja has 1 home run and a .289 batting average. |
