Bates Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Saturday, July 4th , 2026 Noah Bates, first baseman for the ACL Athletics, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 10-2 victory over the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold at Brewers Gold Park. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Noah Bates grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Posting a .422 batting average to date, Bates has 2 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
