Moreno on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Monday, June 29th , 2026 Danny Moreno did just about everything for the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold -- except win the game. The first baseman had a cycle wasted in his club's loss to the Texas(ACL) Rangers. Despite Moreno going 5-for-5 with 1 run batted in and 3 runs scored, the Brewers Gold were defeated, 18-5. "The guys feel like they let Danny down," Milwaukee(ACL) manager Taylor Goddard said later. "He did all anyone could ask and we couldn't hold up our end of the bargain." Danny Moreno tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Josh Voss in the 8th. |
