Chicago N (ACL) Snaps Sullivan Streak at 26 Sunday, June 28th , 2026 The Cubs stopped Curt Sullivan's 26-game hitting streak at Wrigley Field, but they couldn't stop the ACL Athletics, falling by the score of 10-7. Sullivan didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-3. "It's just as well," Athletics manager Ben Chaney said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." For the season, Sullivan is hitting at a .600 clip with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and has scored 24 runs. He has 39 hits, 8 walks and a .641 on-base percentage. |
