5-for-6 Game for Lowe
Tuesday, June 23rd , 2026
After a 5-hit effort to lead San Francisco(ACL)'s 21-8 victory over the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold, second baseman Luke Lowe told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."
"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Arizona Complex League-level is really something special."
The 23-year-old player earned his accolades at Brewers Gold Park with a spectacular 5-for-6 game against the Brewers Gold.
"His swing is getting there," said Giants Black skipper Adam Clarke, who spoke glowingly of Lowe after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Luke did that to perfection."
Luke Lowe singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and walked in the 8th.
In 12 games this season, Lowe has compiled a .471 batting average with 24 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 12 times and knocked in 11 runs.
