Hansen Goes 5-for-6 Monday, June 22nd , 2026 It was high-fives all around for Rickey Hansen at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Los Angeles A(ACL) Angels. Hansen smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 6-4 win. "Rickey was hitting everything," said Diamondbacks manager Sean Kitchens. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Angels manager Joe Plummer told BNN beat writers that Hansen "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Hansen oversleeps next time." Rickey Hansen singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI double in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. A look at his season totals shows Hansen with no home runs, .367 BA, .404 OBP, 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
