Twins Hurler Named AL's #1 Starter Thursday, October 1st , 2026 Robert Negron of the Minnesota Twins outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 6-0 won-lost mark and 4.29 ERA in 6 starts to get the American League Pitcher of the Month honors. Negron had a very impressive September, finishing with 26 strikeouts in 42 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .231 average. For the season, Negron has compiled a 12-7 record with a 4.59 ERA. |
