Pittsburgh Wins National League Central Division Crown Sunday, September 27th , 2026 Members of the Pittsburgh Pirates proudly donned their National League Central Division championship apparel tonight, after winning the division for the 2nd time in franchise history. "We don't take an accomplishment like this for granted. There are some good teams in our division, so it means a lot to come out on top," said starting pitcher Xavier Boyle. "We didn't know what sort of year it would take, but at 92-63, we're happy with the division title." The Pirates will be trying to bring the 1st Major League Baseball championship to Pittsburgh. |
