More Woes for Padres Brad LaFoon Friday, September 25th , 2026 Brad LaFoon was taking it slow and easy nursing acute elbow soreness back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a San Diego team official, "Brad was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 36-year-old Padres starting pitcher will be out at least another 3 months. Brad LaFoon is expected to undergo surgery in San Diego(California) tomorrow. This season to date, LaFoon has a record of 6 wins and 8 losses with a 4.40 ERA, has appeared in 21 games and struck out 69 in 110.1 innings. |
