Houston-Texas Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, September 20th , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Astros Romeu Borlido and the Rangers Aaron Sportsman were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Houston-Texas game. Romeu Borlido will miss 4 games, while Aaron Sportsman was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Romeu Borlido commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." At present, Borlido is batting .233 and has collected 20 home runs, 66 RBIs, .309 OBP and scored 78 runs. In 21 starts this year, Sportsman has fashioned a 7-8 record and a 4.90 ERA. |
