Cleveland-Atlanta Brawl, Casco and Klouchi Suspended Sunday, September 20th , 2026 Yesterday at Truist Park Nelson Casco and Lusala Klouchi got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Cleveland Guardians and Atlanta Braves. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Casco will have to sit out 5 while Klouchi would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. For the season, Casco has produced 114 hits in 480 at-bats for a .237 average with 17 home runs and gotten on base at a .303 clip. |
