Blue Jays, Athletics Trade Players Thursday, July 16th , 2026 Fans in Toronto woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 27-year old LHP Luis Negrete to the Athletics. In return, the Blue Jays will receive 23-year old 2B Armando Marie. So far, Negrete has earned no saves in 33 relief appearances. He has 27 strikeouts and 6 walks in 26 innings while registering a 6.58 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record. |
