Lake Wylie Loses Rodriguez for Season Thursday, July 9th , 2026 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Lake Wylie's Salvador Rodriguez to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/07/2026 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Rodriguez said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Rodriguez has been out of action since he suffered shoulder inflammation. So far this year, Rodriguez has made 18 starts, tossed 100 innings, struck out 90 batters and walked 31. His record is 7-5 with a 3.96 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .253 batting average. |
