Ridenour Wins AL Honor Monday, July 6th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Matt Ridenour was in a class by himself in the American League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Cleveland tagged opposing pitchers for a .522 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 homers, 7 runs scored and 5 RBIs. This season, Ridenour has hit at a .266 clip and produced 41 runs batted in, 15 home runs and 46 runs. |
