Dearman Earns AL's Best Pitcher Honor Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 The pick for the American League's best pitcher in June is relief specialist, Mike Dearman. The Houston pitcher compiled a great month to take home the award. "I just go out there and try and get the job done," Dearman told the press. "Things worked out real well last month and I appreciate the recognition." The 28-year-old reliever threw 14 innings in 14 relief appearances as he piled up 9 saves, 11 strikeouts, and notched a 2-1 record and 0.64 ERA for the month. This season, Dearman has notched 24 saves. In 34 relief appearances, he has 30 strikeouts in 35 innings with a 2.83 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 2-3. |
