Reds Pitching Ravaged by Padron Sunday, June 28th , 2026 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Kansas City's Raul Padron made it happen against the Reds. Everything came together at the plate for the 23-year-old shortstop as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Royals triumph, 14-2, at Kauffman Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Padron said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Raul Padron singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Eric Bassham in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Eric Bassham in the 8th.
