St. Louis Loses Alvares for Season Thursday, June 25th , 2026 Team officials for the St. Louis Cardinals confirmed that a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament will force Jose Alvares to miss the rest of the season. Alvares sustained the injury on 06/23/2026. It remains to be seen who will replace Alvares on the active roster. On the year, Alvares has worked 38.1 innings with 36 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and 3.52 ERA. |
