Cardinals, Mariners Swap Players Friday, June 19th , 2026 After prolonged negotiations St. Louis agreed to ship 22-year old minor league 2B Javier Villalobos and 16-year old minor league LHP Miguel Barreto to Seattle for 25-year old minor league LF Billy Hartman. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." |
