Palm Beach Snaps Loya Streak at 23 Thursday, July 16th , 2026 Oscar Loya of the Tampa Tarpons came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 23 games. Making matters even worse for the first baseman, Tampa dropped the game to the Palm Beach Cardinals, 7-5. "It was not a good day today," Loya told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Loya is batting .350 with 8 home runs and 32 RBIs this season. |
