NWL Top Manager Trophy Goes to Bray Tuesday, September 29th , 2026 Spokane Indians field manager Garrett Bray has brought a winning attitude to the team and the city. His no-nonsense approach, work ethic and baseball experience have paved the way for success. This season the Indians parlayed his managerial skills and some talented ballplayers into a first place spot in the standings. Spokane finished the year with a 82-58 record. To everybody's delight Bray was voted the 2026 Northwest League Manager of the Year by the baseball writers. "Mr. Bray doesn't take any nonsense. If you aren't doing your job, he's not afraid to call you on it," noted one of his ballplayers. "But the team wouldn't want to play for anyone else. He's tough, demanding, but he treats everyone fairly and doesn't play favorites. Nobody gets pampered on his ballclub." |
