El Paso Blanks Sacramento, 4-0 Saturday, June 20th , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Sacramento River Cats as starter Ricardo Vigil shut them out, 4-0, at El Paso Fields. The El Paso pitcher struck out 4 and walked 5 while allowing 3 hits. "Vigil was good but he wasn't flawless," Sacramento manager Elias Pardinas said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from El Paso, but this is on us." To date this season, Vigil has registered 14 starts, 7-3 won-lost mark, 2.55 ERA, 91.2 IP, 71 strikeouts and 29 walks. Opposing teams have hit .227 against him. |
