LeVere Fashions No-Hitter Against Express
Friday, June 19th , 2026
The Salt Lake Bees were just hoping for a solid outing from Jaylen LeVere. Instead, they got something special.
The 25-year-old hurler tossed a no-hitter against the Round Rock Express, helping the Bees take the 9-0 win.
"I felt good throughout the game," he said after his spectacular outing for the Bees. "As I was going into the ninth inning, I wasn't nervous. I knew I had a chance to do something special."
LeVere's repertoire has a sinker, curveball, and fastball, and he used it all to full advantage, keeping the Round Rock hitters off balance all game long. The Salt Lake hurler fanned 12 and walked 2 in his history-making performance.
"His sinker looked about the size of a watermelon seed and it hissed at you as it passed," Round Rock manager Matt Hietpas joked after the game.
This season, LeVere has crafted a 2-9 mark with a 4.38 ERA in 88.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .300 against him and he has 70 strikeouts.
