Gwinnett Takes Round 2 in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 29th , 2026 The Gwinnett Stripers and Worcester Red Sox hooked up in a classic Round 2 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Gwinnett heading off to the Round 3, after a 11-1 win at Fenway Park tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Fenway Park, whether they were supporters of Gwinnett or Worcester, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Dam Thu played the hero for the Stripers in the series, as his MVP performance included a .452 batting average, with a .514 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Gwinnett Stripers will play against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp in the next round. Jacksonville won their series against the Indianapolis Indians 4 games to 0. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
