Jumbo Shrimp Move on to Round 3 Friday, September 25th , 2026 With a 2-1 victory at Indians Grove, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp have completed a sweep of the Indianapolis Indians in the Round 2. "On to the Round 3 and feeling good," said Francisco Beltran. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit." For the series, Beltran hit .583 and won series MVP honors. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Gwinnett Stripers - Worcester Red Sox series. Gwinnett leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
