Gwinnett Wins Round 1 Wednesday, September 16th , 2026 The Gwinnett Stripers are on to the Round 2 after a convincing series win over the Louisville Bats. Gwinnett wrapped up the series sweep with a 9-3 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Matt Cullen, who was named series MVP. For the series, Cullen hit .500 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Gwinnett Stripers will play against the Worcester Red Sox in the next round. Worcester won their series against the Memphis Redbirds 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
