The timely hitting of Eddie Madueno helped the River Hills Rockets down the New York Yankees, 9-5. Madueno went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rockets. With the win over New York, the Rockets improved to 36-58.

In the top of the eighth, the Rockets grabbed the lead when Madueno hit his 12th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Adam Smathers made it 7-4, River Hills.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Madueno.
