The first-place Pittsburgh Pirates picked up another win.

The Pittsburgh Pirates trumped the Lake Wylie Renegades, 8-3, at PNC Park. Pittsburgh shortstop Jaime Flores was terrific. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Pirates, now 59-34, have won 5 in a row.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Flores hit a 3-run home run off Pancho Garcia. It propelled the Pirates into the lead, 4-1.

"These guys just keep getting after it," Pittsburgh manager Steve Cowin said.
